What is Dayz?

DayZ is a game that’s difficult to categorize. I guess it might be most accurately described as a zombie-themed first-person/third person shooter/survival MMO. Basically, DayZ plops you into the shoes of a character in an Eastern European country well after a zombie apocalypse has devastated the world. Resources are scarce, and you start with nothing except a flashlight. To survive as long as you can, you’ll need to find food and water supplies, acquire weapons and ammo, and probably track down medical supplies and other tools to help you through encounters with zombies and — much more dangerous — other players. Welcome to DayZ.

1. Siapkan kopi, rokok atau cemilan. :D

2. Download DayZ Standalone V0.46:

3. Buat Folder game DayZ baru (bisa di dalam drive apapun) Extract game yang telah di Download ke dalam Folder tersebut

4. Setelah selesai Extract gamenya. kemudian Download Patch DayZ V4.61 (47) 

Download link: DayZ V0.46.1 (v47) Patch

Kemudian extract kan patch tersebut kedalam Folder Dayz tadi dan Replace  

5. Di dalam folder tadi cari file yang bernama "DayZ Whitelister.exe" kemudian Run as administrator

Kemudian masukan Nick name yang anda inginkan lalu tekan Generate uid dan kemudian Tekan tombol Apply for whitelist

6. Jalankan "DayZ.exe" dan jangan lupa Run as Administrator

7. Pada main menu silahkan masukan nickname yang anda inginkan, tekan pada tulisan doldud.blogspot pada gambar dibawah dan masukan nickname anda

 

8. Klik Change Server, kemudian Remote, Lalu masukan IP Address dan Port. Lalu Connect

IP Address: 103.230.86.82

Port: 2302

Saya sarankan anda bermain di server ini, karenna menurut saya server ini adalah server yang paling kecil pingnya jika di mainkan di Indonesia;

jika di server lain saya mendapatkan ping 320+ sedangkan disini ping saya 130+

Oh iya, berhubung banyak yang suka lag maka saya beri sedikit cara untuk optimasikan.

Pertama, create Shortcut DayZ.exe, kemudian pada shortcut tersebut Klik kanan>propertis

Pada tab Shorcut kemudian pada "target" tambahkan parameternya

Contoh: "E:\Download\DayZ Standalone v0.46\DayZ.exe" -nosplash -cpuCount=4 -maxMem=4096 -skipIntro -noPause

•  Parameter  
• -nosplash – menghilangkan logo Bohemia Interactive 
• -skipintro - melompati logo Dayz
• -noPause – membuat permainan berjalan sementara dikurangi atau tidak fokus.
• -world=*kosong - menonaktifkan peta dari loading pada peluncuran, berarti Anda masuk ke peluncur permainan cepat, tapi loading game akan memakan waktu lebih lama.  
• -cpuCount=8 – Jumlah Core Di Cpu lu Bisa Di Lihat Di ParkControI
• -maxMem =8192 – sesuaikan sesuai RAM sistem yg anda punya, 2.048 untuk 2GB, 4GB 4096 untuk, 8192 untuk 8GB. 
• -window - meluncurkan game dalam mode windowed 
• -noborder - menghilangkan garis pinggir saat bermain Windowed Mode
• -exThreads=7 -jumlah thread di cpu bisa di lihat di CPU-Z
•  -winxp = opsi paling mutakhir untuk meningkatkan FPS rate

Kemudian buka Configuration Files Pertama, Buka Document Dayz.cfg Dengan Notepad C:\Users\Namamu\Document\Dayz\Dayz.cfg  Lalu Cari

Ubah Menjadi

Lalu Save Setelah Itu Buka
NamaProfileKamu.DayZProfile

kemudian Cari dan ganti seperti dibawah ini

sceneComplexity=200000; – Jumlah ini mempengaruhi rincian objek.
shadowZDistance=100; - Ini adalah jarak di mana bayangan diambil.
viewDistance=1000; – Jumlah ini mempengaruhi jarak pandang (pohon, rumput dll ...).
preferredObjectViewDistance=1000; – Ini willaffects jarak bahwa benda akan ditarik.

Kemudian save.

Oh iya ini sangat penting settingan Quality kemudian Objects Wajib (High or Normal) karena ini sangat penting untuk melihat zombie atau player lain pada jarak jauh.

Dalam Settingan game:

Textures
Video Memory – set to ‘Auto‘, simple. 
Texture Detail – Textures in DayZ make a big difference. Setting this to ‘Very Low‘ can gain you a few frames but it makes the models look kind of plastic. I like ‘High‘. 
Texture Filtering – This texture setting only affects display at certain angles. It’s not that noticeable and doesn’t gain many frames. Set to ‘disabled‘.

Quality
Objects – High or Normal (Players seem to be invisible from a distance with low) Terrain – More frames to be gained here, set this to ‘Very Low‘ to remove almost all of the foliage on the ground and gain you some frames. This can make the many fields of Chernarus feel a bit sparse so I would recommended ‘Low‘.
Clouds – Clouds in DayZ are extremely detailed and move with the weather. Set this to ‘disabled’ to gain a few frames.
Shadows – Shadows are a nice touch, setting this to ‘Disabled‘ will remove shadows all together and gain you a few frames. No shadows at all can feel a little unrealistic so I would say keep them on at ‘Very Low‘.

Rendering

Anti aliasing – This graphical feature basically makes jagged lines smoother. If you’re struggling for frames, you can do without. Set this to ‘Very Low.’ I recommend ‘normal‘ because I prefer things to look smooth.
Alpha to Coverage – This affects the display of greenery like trees and grass. Turning it on adds a sort-of blur effect which makes foliage look nicer. You can do without, set this to ‘Disabled‘. 
Edge Smoothing – This is post processing anti aliasing. Basically anti aliasing the edges again. There are a few different options here. ‘Disabled‘  gives the best FPS boost. I recommend ‘FXAA Normal‘. MXAA gives better results but is more intensive. FXAA is very similar to MXAA quality but is less intensive. 
Ambient Occlusion – Set this to ‘Disabled‘ – in certain situations this will give you a good FPS boost. 
Postprocess Quality – This one adds another sort-of blur effect which is supposed to make things look realistic. I don;t like it, set to ‘Disabled‘ to gain a few frames. 
Bloom – Set the slider to ‘0‘. 
Rotation Blur – Set the slider to ‘0‘.
